Update - The ASADA's water concession application was received by AyA in San Jose on October 6th, 2025 and is now being reviewed by MINAE in Guanacaste. Following this work, it is anticipated that they will not find any deficiencies and then it can return to AyA in San Jose for final sign-off. How much longer? We really don't know and at this point-in-time, we don't even want to speculate. The ASADA will be meeting with AyA (Guanacaste) following receipt of our water concession to discuss next steps so that we can start to issue water letters once again. We will keep everyone updated, especially those who are on the list for water letters.
Water Meter relocation Roberto will be busy moving the water meters that are currently on people's property to the roadway so that they will be more easily accessible for meter readings and maintenance. This will involve digging trenches for the relocation. Please contact Juan at info@ldmasada if you have any questions, comments or concerns about this work.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to official letter numbered GSD-UEN-GAR-2022-03262, of August 17, 2022, from the Regional Office of Communal Aqueducts of AyA, Chorotega Region, UEN Management of Rural Aqueducts, Lomas del Mar's ASADA is not able to issue water letters, due to the fact that Lomas del Mar's Aqueduct does not meet the necessary technical requirements prescribed by Aya.
