Below are some of the things that can increase your water consumption and should be taken into consideration:
Evaporation of your pool water increases the amount needed to keep your pool at a consistent level
A leaking toilet, or a toilet that continues to run after being flushed
A dripping faucet; a faucet drip can waste 20 gallons or more of water a day
Filling or topping off a swimming pool
Guests visiting for vacations or holidays
Water-cooled air conditioners
A broken water pipe or obvious leak
Water softener problems - cycles continuously
Service line leaks between your water meter and your home, check for wet spots in your yard
I would also like to request that if you are going to fill your pool, that you please notify Paulino (info@ldmasada.com) in advance so that we can coordinate things. The past few weeks we've had 4 homes fill their pools which resulted in Roberto having to check the tank levels every 3 hours to make sure that they were filling and able to provide water without interruption to everyone. We don't mind you using the ASADA water to do this, but would like it if you could provide us with a heads' up.
